JCI Pori (Finnish: Porin Nuorkauppakamari ry) is the local organization in Pori, Finland, of Junior Chamber International (JCI). Founded in 1959, JCI Pori is a member association of the Finnish Chambers of Commerce and part of the International Association of Chambers of Commerce (JCI). We are dedicated to leadership training, social responsibility, entrepreneurship, and internationalization, positively impacting society through our diverse and multi-professional membership.
Our activities are aimed at individuals under the age of 40 interested in self-development and training. Known for our relentless attitude and activism, both locally and internationally, we contribute to the community, culture, and business life of Pori through various projects and activities. Our members develop their leadership skills through training courses and practical project and board work.
JCI Pori operates with the purpose of developing its members in various areas of life, benefiting both their personal and professional lives. We focus on tomorrow’s leadership and making a positive contribution to the Satakunta region’s future. In a rapidly changing world, we aim to secure growth and development for future generations with innovative solutions.
By working together, we learn and develop. JCI Pori is a dynamic environment where you can bring your ideas to life with like-minded young people from diverse backgrounds. Our members enjoy a rich environment full of different talents and personalities, helping them reach their full potential in areas that interest and challenge them.
JCI Pori has approximately 50 active members and 48 senators and honorary members.

The Pori Chamber of Commerce carries out 10-15 projects annually, forming the core of our activities. These high-quality projects enable members to learn, gain experience, and succeed in their careers. Membership of the Chamber of Commerce for Young People
Become a Member?
Are you interested in lifelong learning, self-development, social impact, leadership, networking, happy people, and fun events—in Pori, Finland, and around the world? The Youth Chamber of Commerce can be all this and more! Apply if you are between 18 and 38 years old! New probationary members are selected twice a year, in March and November. For new probationary members, we look for active participation, a desire to make a positive difference, and enthusiasm to develop themselves and their friends.
Probationary Membership Requirements:
- Participate in START training for probationary members (approx. 2 hours)
- Participate in at least 5 different PNKK events/trainings
- Participate in at least 1 national or international meeting (subsidized up to approx. €95)
- Participate in an induction project for probationary members
- Deliver a presentation/speech according to given instructions
- Pay a joining fee of €95
After meeting the membership criteria during the probationary period, members will be accepted as full members at the Annual Meeting in February or the Election Meeting in October. Fill out the application here and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible!
